Our parish has is made up of three Churches -
Church of the Sacred Heart Chirk, Church of the Holy Cross Llangollen
& Church of St Mary The Virgin Ruabon.
The parish is named after Saint Richard Gwyn, a school teacher who was martyred in Wrexham in 1584 and canonised by Pope Paul VI in 1970.
The parish is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wrexham.

What's On

Bishop Peter has put 4 questions forward (ref pg 25) for Parishes within the Diocese of Wrexham to respond to.
The meeting is planned to discuss the Parish's response which are to be returned to the Bishop by 18th September.
Everyone is very warmly welcome and strongly encouraged to attend to give much valued feedback. Please read the document beforehand as due to its length and content there will be insufficient time togo through it in any great detail on the night.

Extraordinary PAC Open Meeting
to be held in Ruabon Church Hall next Wednesday 16th September at 7pm
Following the publication received at last weekend masses from Bishop Peter, Father Jaspher invites the PAC and parishioners of St Richard Gwyn Parish
Apologies are given for the short notice in convening the meeting. The timing of having received the documents and the date for reply the date is a narrow window and the date was chosen to provide as much time as possible to facilitate planning for attendance.
